What is p277?

A 24-amino-acid HSP60-derived peptide developed to promote immune tolerance and reduce inflammatory autoimmunity. It has been most visible in type 1 diabetes research, but it is a bona fide peptide immunomodulator in the autoimmune space.

Key Benefits & Mechanisms

immune tolerance

Treg bias

anti-inflammatory signaling

Research Summary

p277 is a real peptide with extensive autoimmune-trial history, especially in diabetes and tolerance research. It is not approved for autoimmune disease, but it remains a canonical example of a tolerogenic peptide platform.
