What is Follistatin-344?

Follistatin-344 is a naturally occurring glycoprotein that binds and neutralizes myostatin and activin, two proteins that limit muscle growth. By inhibiting these muscle growth inhibitors, follistatin promotes significant muscle hypertrophy and strength gains. The 344 isoform is the most commonly studied.

Key Benefits & Mechanisms

Myostatin inhibition (muscle growth brake removed)

Significant muscle hypertrophy

Increased strength

May improve fertility

Enhanced muscle recovery

Fat reduction through increased lean mass

Does not require exercise to show effects

Research Summary

Follistatin has strong pre-clinical evidence for muscle growth through myostatin inhibition. Gene therapy approaches using follistatin have entered human clinical trials for muscular dystrophy. Direct peptide administration data is more limited. Exciting potential but needs more human research.
